With California’s driest winter in five hundred years, we packed our bags and jumped on a flight to Colorado, looking for winter. Adjusting to being without our dog, we packed our long weekend with activities Hudson would be happy to miss. For the four days we were in Colorado we fully embraced the weather, lifestyle, and landscape. We drove a Subaru Outback, hiked along the wind blown Indian Peaks, drank hot cocoa at the base of the flatirons, and indulged in the best food Boulder has to offer. After four incredible days of a real winter in Colorado, I was reminded how grateful I am for our 70 degree California winters.
