Falls Canoe Paddle

$145.00

The Falls square-tipped canoe paddle is probably what most paddlers envision when setting out on their first paddling excursions. The large 7.5" x 23" blade offers excellent power, easily tackling the wind and waves, while the squared-off end still offers excellent purchase in shallow and mucky waters.

The Tributary Series of paddles is our take on a few classic canoe paddle blades, with an eye towards both sustainability and affordability without sacrificing either aesthetics or the Sanborn tradition of hand-crafted, quality woodwork. Each Tributary paddle combines fast growing, renewable Aspen, which is then paired with a solid black-walnut center stripe, before being shaped by hand in our shop in Minnesota. Once shaped, it is then giving a striking yet simple paint scheme and then varnished, further protecting the wood and lending it a sleek, modern appearance besides.
