While most smaller nicks and scratches in your canoe can be left alone, bigger gouges or impacts should be repaired to prevent further damage. Each gel coat repair kit includes 4oz of your selected color. Because of shipping restrictions we cannot ship the catalyst, so you should pick some up from your local auto parts store.

Recommended mix is 4% catalyst to 96% gel coat. (Use a syringe to help measure the catalyst).

To use: clean and prepare the surface, apply a bit more than the indentation you're filling. Clear scotch tape can be used to help the wet gel coat conform to the contour of your boat. Let cure 24 hours then sand smooth. Recommended up to 2000 grit wet sanding before buffing. Please note that when touching up gel coat there is always a chance of imperfect color blending and matching in the finished repair.
