In production since 1954, the Osprey is a purpose-built fishing canoe. Small and light enough to carry into those untapped backcountry fishing spots, and wide and stable enough to stand and cast from, the Osprey is the result of 50 years of classic canoe building combined with modern components for the ideal blend of function and performance for anyone looking to spend more time chasing fish on the water. 

Designed for the avid angler, with an average weight well under 50 pounds, this canoe is easy to put into the water whether solo or as a pair, and the 39” beam provides a wide, stable platform for more comfortable paddling even with children in the canoe. But the real benefit of the stability is for fishing. While the 13’ length is short enough to navigate into narrower streams and tight fishing spots, the available width of the boat is still more than sufficient to confidently cast a line while standing, making those small back bays on the lake or bends in the river more accessible than ever before. 

Choose between our Classic layup, using lightweight and reliable fiberglass, or upgrade to our Expedition layup, swapping in Kevlar and Carbon Fiber for maximum rigidity and strength. Cherry ribs reinforce the hull for fantastic rigidity, durability, and stunning looks. Hardwood appointments including the gunwales, seats, and yoke are rounded out with a striking gel-coat painted finish that is sure to impress both on and off the water.
