Every now and then we find ourselves with a selection of wood that's just a bit more special than everything else. This paddle is a 56" Limited Edition Padauk Wapasha. This individually crafted paddle features some of the most striking woodwork we've ever incorporated into a paddle. The Padauk wood lends a deep, rich red tone which is perfectly contrasted against the Maple and walnut shaft and maple blade binding. Note that because of the porous nature of Padauk, the grip on this paddle has been varnished rather than left bare. 

This paddle is not just for show. The blade is reinforced both with fiberglass on both faces as well as a hard epoxy rock guard for handling whatver the water throws your way.
