The Rapids beavertail canoe paddle is tradional paddling at its finest. A simple beavertail blade offers elegant curves, and great blend of power and versatility. The 6.5" x 25" blade lends you all the power needed to push through when the wind and currents are against you, while still offering a smooth passage through the water and subtle corrective strokes.

The Tributary Series of paddles is our take on a few classic canoe paddle blades, with an eye towards both sustainability and affordability without sacrificing either aesthetics or the Sanborn tradition of hand-crafted, quality woodwork. Each Tributary paddle combines fast growing, renewable Aspen, which is then paired with a solid black-walnut center stripe, before being shaped by hand in our shop in Minnesota. Once shaped, it is then giving a striking yet simple paint scheme and then varnished, further protecting the wood and lending it a sleek, modern appearance besides.
