The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, captures the imagination of anyone who has ever had the chance to witness it. The slow flow of ethereal glow across the night sky perfectly encapsulates the wonder of the far north. Our tribute to these northern lights, the Aurora Borealis paddle is hand-painted on our own Voyageur Heritage paddle. It has an elegant blade shape and a canny combination of premium cedar, ash, aspen, and walnut.
Note that because of the freehand nature of this painting process, there will be some variation between your paddle and the one pictured. This design is intended only for vertical display.
This design is painted on our Voyageur Heritage Paddle. With an elegantly traditional blade shape these are graceful in and out of the water. They’re perfect for lazy turns around the lake or for gracing the wall of your cabin. Each is a laminated combination of Red Alder, Basswood, and Black Walnut.

Boralis paddle
Very nicely done, and as promised, delivered before Christmas; thank you. 4 stars only because rough wood grain distracts from beautiful painting. Maybe that was meant to be? Or maybe there was not enough time to prep paddle?
