Lake Minnetonka, so-named from the American Indian phrase Minn-ni-tanka,which means “Big Water”, has been a stalwart summer retreat for many Minnesotans over the years. The lake’s shores have been home to grand hotels, early steamboats, supposed summer White House’s, amusement parks, sailing clubs and in its hey-day was a very attractive destination for affluent travelers. The perfect place to spend hot summer afternoons relaxing and swimming.
This design is painted on our Voyageur Heritage Paddle. With an elegantly traditional blade shape these are graceful in and out of the water. They’re perfect for lazy turns around the lake or for gracing the wall of your cabin. Each is a laminated combination of Red Alder, Basswood, and Black Walnut.

Minnetonka Canoe Paddle
The craftsmanship on the canoe paddle is of the highest quality! We could not be happier! It hangs on the wall of our lake home next to two paintings of boats and canoes. I tried to attach a picture, but no luck.
