Payment Plans

We at Sanborn often talk in terms of investing time in the outdoors. Whether it's paddling with our little ones on a nearby backwater on the Mississippi, or a ten-day trek through the Missouri River Breaks, the choice is to spend some of our limited time in the outdoors. But we get it- well-made canoes, paddles, and camping gear can be a big financial investment. That's where a payment plan can help.

Starting January 2020, Sanborn Canoe is happy to offer payment plans in partnership with Klarna. Using Klarna is really simple; after adding items to your card, proceed through the checkout process until you reach the "Payments" section (it's the last step of the checkout process). There you'll have the option to choose a payment plan with Klarna. For larger items like canoes,  you'll see something like the image below, laying out the specific terms. If approved, complete the order and you're good to go! 

For purchases under $1000 USD (we used one of our Nessmuk paddles for the example below) you'll be presented with a couple different payment options. One is a simple split into multiple installments. With this choice the installments are paid every two weeks over four total payments. With this choice there's no interest or fees as long as your credit or debit card clears the payment as each installment is charged. Below that you'll also have the option to apply for a financed payment similar to the above example with the canoe purchase, but with shorter terms to reflect the smaller amount. 

And that's it! With either of these choices you can make an investment in some great time spent outside!
