The Trempealeau River slices through the western edge of Wisconsin, joining the mighty Mississippi at one of our go-to local canoeing haunts. French explorers named the bluff rising up where the rivers meet Trempealeau Mountain or “la montagne qui trempe à l'eau” meaning “the mountain whose foot is bathed in water.”
This design is painted on our Voyageur Heritage Paddle. With an elegantly traditional blade shape these are graceful in and out of the water. They’re perfect for lazy turns around the lake or for gracing the wall of your cabin. Each is a laminated combination of Red Alder, Basswood, and Black Walnut.
